Resilience Enhancement of Essential Infrastructures Safety and Telecommunications

Europe’s energy infrastructure is increasingly vulnerable to climate change and natural disasters, with disruptions causing major societal and economic impacts. To address monitoring challenges, the EU-funded RESIST project integrates long-endurance drones with satellite imagery to enable continuous surveillance of critical systems. Its goal is to enhance emergency response, security, and climate resilience, and it has been tested in several European countries to strengthen infrastructure against growing risks.
