Advances in drone technology have enabled low-cost weaponisation, including swarm attacks, posing a growing threat to public safety. The EU-funded PRESERVE project aims to equip law enforcement with tools, training, and intelligence-sharing capabilities to detect and prevent such risks. By combining multi-sensory and online data, the project supports decision-making, enhances cross-border cooperation, and develops standardized procedures to improve preparedness against drone-based threats.
